the Bronze Quadriga. When the Venitians sacked
Constantinipol, they were brought home for the
Doge. Years later Napoleon took them to Paris.
Then, the Italians took them back. The Turks
have not yet reported them missing.  
Looking out to the San Giorgio at
Kiawah and see the broad expanse
of salt marsh and sky - it takes your
breath away.  Its amazing that a
city can evoke that same feeling
you usually get in rain forests and
mountain tops.
